Explosion Entertainments provides Volunteer Entertainers to Charities and Good Causes to raise the awarness of the Charity and to raise the profile of the Entertainer. The Volunteer Entertainer performs for the Charity on a No-fee basis. |
| 3 | How did Explosion Entertainments Start? |
Please read the "About Us" section. |
| 4 | What are the aims of Explosion Entertainments? |
To give opportunities to Entertainers to volunteer their skills free, to perform in front of live audiences. For Charities to have the opportunity to select Entertainers for their events where live entertainment is required. i.e AGM's, Open Days, Fundraising Days etc. By Charities selecting Entertainers on a no fee basis, will save the Charity money and will promote the Entertainer in their chosen skill. Both Entertainer and Charity benefit. |
| 5 | What are your future plans? |
To have as many Charities Register on the Website. Have as many willing Volunteer Entertainers Register on the Website and see if we can all make a difference and change the way we give to charities not only by giving money but our skills and talent through Entertainment. Make a difference and be famous for helping others. |
| 6 | So are you lot at ExplosionEntertainments making profit from charities and the goodwill of the Entertainers? |
No Our web site is totally free to use. We do not charge for Entertainers to register and we do not charge for Charites to register We do not charge for agreements between Charities and Entertainers. In fact we don't charge for anything! |
| 7 | So how do you earn then money to pay for the website and run the organization? |
Easy, our website is designed to help Charities to fundraise and to help Entertainers to perform before public audiences and to build their profiles. If it is good enough for a charity to raise it's funds through donations, then that is good enough for us! We raise all our costs by fundraising. |
| 8 | Do you accept paid adverts? |
No. But we do feature our sponsors. We are a non-profit organisation so we are doing just the same as all Charities by highlighting those people who have sponsored us. |
| 9 | Do you accept donations? |
We are a not-for-profit organisation and need funds to operate. So the answer is yes. We have a Paypal donation facility on the front page of the website. |
| 10 | What is the Significance of the Explosion Entertainments Logo |
The Explosion Entertainments Logo represents EE, the two E’s stand for Explosion Entertainments. The First E represents the Entertainer the second E in the background represents the Charity or the ‘Entertainer’ at the Charity event. The star represents the Entertainers Fame as a star or a celebrity appearing at a Charity event. The star is showing the V tips, this represents that all of the Entertainers are Volunteers going out in all directions to help raise awareness for Charities. |

| 1 | What do I do to be part of Explosion Entertainments? |
Register free by pressing the CLICK TO ENTER button. Fill in your details. You may upload up to 3 pictures and upload a C.V |
| 2 | Is it safe using your website with my personal details |
We believe that it is safe. We do not need any financial or credit card details at all. We don't even insist that you enter your address! But we do ask for your town/city and the first 4 characters of your postcode. This is so that the charities looking for people know if you are in their area. |
| 3 | How do I know my details are safe? |
Only Registered and Verified Charities and Good Causes can view your personal details. The general public will only see your name, skills, photos and be able to listen to your music. If you add your own personal websites with your details, just be aware that any personal information you have on there can be seen by everyone. |
| 4 | I know I am volunteering my skills, but can I claim expenses? |
If a Charity selects you for an event, please make sure you ask the Charity if they are prepared to pay your expenses, i.e. Bus fare, Train fare etc. The arrangements between the Entertainer and the Charity are entirely between the two parties. Explosion Entertainments do not get involved at all! We reserve the right to mediate in any disputes. |
| 5 | I am a singer, will I have to bring my own equipment? |
Please ensure that you bring everything you need and make sure you understand before you accept an event wether there is the appropriate equipment in place. i.e PA System, Microphone, CD/MD player, Sound Engineer. If you sing to backing tracks, please ensure the CD/MD's are in good working order and not scratched or jump. |
| 6 | Is there a Contract? |
The only contract is between the Charity/Good Cause and the Entertainer. As with any Contract, it is only as good between the two parties - Entertainer and Charity. |
| 7 | How do Explosion Entertainments know I am a good enough Entertainer? |
The truth is we don't, but we try and verify as much of the information provided as possible. The same situation exists already when a Charity uses an Entertainer for the first time. As time goes on an Entertainer will build up a record of performances which will help the Charities use the correct people. |
| 8 | I am an Entertainer, can I also offer my services other than as an Entertainer? |
Certainly We need assistance in all areas of the country. We want to run talent competitions throughout the UK. Each competition will be for the benefit of an appropriate charity. But we need people to help setup and run these events. We also need people to answer the emails, sort out issues with registration, handling images and soundtracks that are added to the website. etc. |
| 9 | I used to be an Entertainer, but feel I can no longer do this, is there anything I can do? |
We will welcome your skills and talents as above. |

There will be a list of entertainers appear. Click on the ones you are interested in, read their profile and contact them by phone or email. | |

Yes any good cause that is non-profit making can register, just type NONE in charity number box. For the security of our Entertainers we reserve the right to validate that all organisations are bone-fide. We will check that a Charity number is valid. |
| 5 | I know the Entertainers are volunteering their skills for free, how can we help them? |
The volunteer knows when they register, that they are providing their skills/performances free of charge. You may be able to pay them their expenses, like bus fare, train fare etc. Some volunteers don't even want that. Any financial agreements are totally between you and the Entertainer. Please record all agreements to avoid difficulties |
