Acceptance of Terms and Conditions for Entertainers/Volunteers

The following are the terms on which Explosion Entertainments offers you access to our site and services. By registering on this site you accept these terms and conditions.

Explosion Entertainments Community Interest Company

Explosion Entertainments acts only as an agent or introducer between entertainers registered on our database and charitable causes registered on our database or advertising on our website. We do not recommend people as suitable for events; charitable causes must ensure for themselves that the volunteers they select are appropriate to their requirements.

Under 18 year olds

You must be 18 or over to register with Explosion Entertainments although applications may be submitted on behalf of minors by their parents or guardians. Please select the Under 18 option when registering. Important Notes: The charities can only negotiate an event with the parents or guardians. The minor must always be accompanied to any event by a parent or guardian. UK legislation is strict on the use of minors within the entertainment industry. Contact your local social services for details.

Liability

You agree that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, any and all liability and responsibility of Explosion Entertainments to you or any other person under or in connection with these terms and conditions, or in connection with the services, this web site, another member's acts or omissions, or your use of or inability to use, the services or this web site is excluded regardless of whether such liability arises in any agreement, tort (including negligence), equity, breach of statutory duty or otherwise. Explosion Entertainments's liability and responsibility is excluded in respect of any and all loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, including, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business or anticipated savings, general and special damages, and consequential and incidental loss.

Indemnity

You agree to release, indemnify and keep indemnified us from and against all actions, claims, costs (including legal costs and expenses) losses, proceedings, damages, liabilities, or demands suffered or incurred by us to any person arising out of or in connection with your use of Explosion Entertainments's services.

Breach

Without limiting any other rights and remedies available to Explosion Entertainments, we may limit your activities on the web site, or remove your profile, or suspend or terminate your membership, or refuse to provide our services to you if you breach these terms and conditions or where Explosion Entertainments considers it appropriate.
You will be in breach of your agreement with Explosion Entertainments if you use our website to send junk mail, spam, advertising, offensive messages, or for any purposes other than those directly related to auditions or to make enquiries. Explosion Entertainments will be the sole judge of any breach of the conditions of use. Any breach of these conditions can result in your membership being terminated and a permanent ban from the site.

Materials contained on this website are protected under copyright laws of the United Kingdom and under international conventions and similar laws abroad. You are not permitted to use or reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce the name and logo of Explosion Entertainments for any reason without our express written permission

Data Protection

You agree that when you register with Explosion Entertainments we will hold certain information about you. This will include personal information such as contact details, address, telephone, etc.
Explosion Entertainments will only publish this personal information to any charity organisation who expresses an interest in contacting you directly.
Your personal details will not be available to any other Volunteer or any charity organisations who are not registerd with us. Explosion Entertainments will keep all information about the Volunteers private and secure.

External Links

You should be aware that links and references on your Explosion Entertainments registration, both Entertainer registrations and Charitable Causes registrations, to external websites, blogs, etc may reveal contact details and/or personal details about you.
These are outside our control and Explosion Entertainments are nor responsible for any consequences for this external data being in the public domain.

Paypal Donations

Payment via PayPal is on a donation basis. This helps Explosion Entertainments to maintain it's running costs and 10% of all donations will go directly to one of the Charities featured on our site.

Passwords and Sign in Security

Explosion Entertainments will not be held responsible for any unauthorised use, or for consequential harm or damage of any sort, by unauthorised person(s) abusing our service by logging in with your password. You are responsible for protecting your password from unauthorised use. You are also responsible for the security of any computer where you choose to remain logged on Explosion Entertainments.

Inaccurate Information

All information provided to us is assumed by Explosion Entertainments to be complete and accurate. However we recognise that Volunteer skills and level of talents can be subjective. If your personal information changes you will be responsible for providing us with the updated information. We shall not be held liable for any loss, damage or consequences as a result of inaccurate or incomplete information you have or have not entered on your profile.
Volunteers and charity organisations are responsible for updating their own details with Explosion Entertainments. Explosion Entertainments will not update any personal details themselves.

Site Access

Access to our site may be interrupted, restricted or delayed from time to time. We will not be liable for damages or costs in these circumstances.

Our Terms and Conditions may be changed by us from time to time.

Viruses

Although we take reasonable steps to prevent the introduction of viruses or other destructive materials to our website or on-line service, we do not guarantee that the service or materials that may be available from our website do not contain such destructive features. We shall not be liable for any damages or liability attributable to such features. If you use any materials available through this website, you do so solely at your own risk.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions and any agreements with Explosion Entertainments arising from our website are governed by English law. Any dispute arising in relation to these terms and conditions and any agreement arising from our website will be heard in England and resolved in accordance within England.
